What we do
Content Writo writes content for businesses: blogs, website copy, product descriptions, emails, social media content, and technical documents. These terms apply to every project we take on, whether you contact us directly or through a platform such as Upwork or Fiverr. If a platform’s own terms differ from ours, the platform’s terms apply to that project.
Quotes and orders
Prices shown on this site are starting prices. Every project gets a written quote before work begins, based on length, research needed, and volume. A project starts when you confirm the quote in writing, by email or platform message. That confirmation, together with these terms, is the agreement between us.
Payment
- Invoices are issued in Indian rupees for clients in India and in the agreed currency for clients elsewhere.
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, UPI, PayPal, Wise, or through the platform the project was ordered on.
- Larger projects and monthly retainers may need part payment before work starts. The quote will say so.
- Invoices are due within 7 days unless the quote says otherwise. Late payment may pause work on open projects.
Delivery and timelines
Every quote includes a delivery date. We keep it. If something on our side threatens that date, you will hear about it before the date, not after. If you delay sending a brief, materials, or feedback, the delivery date moves by the same amount.
Revisions
Every project includes one round of revisions, requested within 7 days of delivery, to bring the piece in line with the original brief. Changes that go beyond the brief, such as a new topic, a different audience, or a new tone, are a new piece of work and will be quoted separately.
Ownership and rights
Once a project is paid in full, the content is yours. You can publish, edit, and reuse it however you like, and you do not need to credit us. Until payment is received, the content remains ours. Materials you give us, such as brand guidelines, product data, or images, stay yours, and you confirm you have the right to let us use them.
Confidentiality
Everything you share about your business stays between us. We do not show client work as a sample, name a client, or describe a project publicly without written permission. We will sign an NDA on request, and white-label work for agencies is delivered without any mention of Content Writo.
Refunds and cancellations
- Before work starts: cancel at any time and any advance payment is refunded in full.
- After work has started but before the first draft: you pay for the research and writing done so far, at a pro-rata share of the quote. The rest of any advance is refunded.
- After the first draft is delivered: the project is considered delivered and is not refundable. If the draft misses the brief, the included revision round is the remedy, and we will make it right.
- Monthly retainers: can be cancelled with 30 days’ notice. Work already delivered in the current month is payable. Unused pieces do not carry over.
- Platform orders: projects ordered through Upwork or Fiverr follow that platform’s refund and dispute process.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 working days of being agreed.
Your responsibilities
- Give us an accurate brief and the information needed to write the piece.
- Review drafts and send feedback within a reasonable time.
- Check facts that only you can verify, such as product specifications, prices, and legal claims, before publishing.
- Make sure anything you ask us to write is lawful and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Limits on our responsibility
We write with care and research every piece, but we cannot guarantee a specific ranking, traffic figure, or sales result. Search engines and audiences are outside our control. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not responsible for losses that follow from how the content is used after delivery.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking it through will be handled by the courts in India.
