About Content Writo

A content agency run by a writer, not a sales team.

Content Writo started as one freelancer with a laptop and a long list of clients who kept coming back. Seven years and eleven million words later, it is a small agency with the same rule it started with: research first, write by hand, deliver on the date.

We write the words that bring people to a business, and keep them there.

Three kinds of work, one process. Every piece goes through the same research, writing, and review steps, whether it is a 300-word product description or a 6,000-word whitepaper.

01

Content that gets found

SEO blogs and long-form articles built on keyword research and a proper look at what already ranks. Written to show up on Google and to be cited by AI search tools.

02

Copy that sells

Website pages, product descriptions, and email sequences. The words a visitor reads right before deciding whether to trust you, buy from you, or leave.

03

Content that explains

Whitepapers, case studies, documentation, and social content for SaaS and B2B companies whose products take more than a tagline to understand.

Amit Kumar has spent seven years writing for other people's businesses. Content Writo is what that turned into.

Amit started as a freelance content writer, taking on blogs and website copy for small businesses through Upwork and Fiverr. The early work was mostly SEO articles for eCommerce stores and IT companies. The clients stayed, referred others, and the briefs got bigger: full websites, product catalogues with hundreds of items, whitepapers for SaaS companies.

Along the way he built a 100% Job Success Score on Upwork and a Top Rated badge, which in practice means every project delivered on time and every client willing to say so. He has written across IT, eCommerce, fashion, jewellery, home decor, real estate, travel, fire safety, blockchain, and healthcare, for clients in India, the US, the UK, Australia, and the UAE.

"Most content fails before the writing starts. Nobody checked what the reader actually wants, or what already ranks. So that is where every project here begins, and it is the part I still do myself."

Amit Kumar, Founder

Content Writo is the agency version of that way of working. Amit still leads every project, writes or reviews every piece, and handles the research himself. The team around him exists so that a bulk order of 500 product descriptions or a monthly retainer across three services gets the same attention as the first blog post did.

No AI-generated drafts, no outsourced writers you never hear about, and no account manager between you and the person doing the work.

Four rules that have not changed since the first client.

They are simple, and they are the reason clients stay for years instead of months.

Research before writing

Brief review, search results, competitors, and reader intent come first. The blank page comes after.

Written by a person, every time

Tools help with research and keyword mapping. The writing itself is done by hand, and it passes AI detection because of that.

The date we agree is the date you get it

A 100% Job Success Score is not built on late deliveries. Timelines are confirmed upfront and kept.

One honest revision round

If the first draft misses the brief, we fix it. Most clients never need to ask.

Chapter 1

The first clients

Freelance SEO articles and website copy for small businesses, found through Upwork and Fiverr. Every brief treated like it was the only one.

Chapter 2

Top Rated on Upwork

Consistent delivery earned a 100% Job Success Score and the Top Rated badge. Clients started arriving by referral instead of by search.

Chapter 3

Bigger briefs, more industries

Product catalogues in the hundreds, full websites, and B2B whitepapers. Work spread across ten industries and five countries.

Chapter 4

Content Writo

The freelance practice became an agency, so that larger projects and monthly retainers could be handled without lowering the standard.
